I have been passionate about hats, headwear and costume for many years.

I have always loved designing and creating. Over the years I have upcycled, redesigned and made hats and fascinators.

​

I learned to sew as a child, and like many made clothes for my dolls. This did not stop at fashion clothes, but generally involved historical or cultural dress. As the years progressed I became more adventurous and started making costume and hats for myself.

​

I went on to make costume for others from babies to adults, and while I am happy to make any costume I really love historical or vintage costume, and no costume is ever complete without a hat.

​

I love nothing more than dressing in  1940s attire to attend a 1940s weekend, Victorian garb for a Victorian Christmas market or full steampunk gear for a costumed day out.
